Yount Longhorns

Raising Texas Longhorns has become a great passion for our family.  We are trying very hard to breed some of the best cattle we can possibly afford.  We have researched bloodlines for the past several years and are still learning more everyday.    We have had some tremendous heifers out of Radigan and are crossing all of them with Paint Brush.  We are expecting great things from the cross and believe it will take our future calves to a whole new level. 	ABOUT US:   We are located in southwest Missouri, about 45 minutes straight north of Joplin.  We are near two major highways, 43 and 71, just outside of the small rural town of Liberal.   This site will be a continual work in progress, so bear with me...I'm learning as I go.  Usually I have to really mess it up real good (at least twice!) before I figure out how to do it right.
Texas Longhorns are such a unique breed.  They are intelligent and amazing in the depth of the personalities and physical appearance.  There is nothing like watching a young one grow and develop those awsome horns.
